[New Tunes] K+ x Kilo Kish

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Kay.

If you couldn’t tell by my scream, I’m a big fan of the curly haired cutie. Today Kilo Kish drops the anticipated mixtape, K+. More conversation/sung songs on eclectic, smooth  beats continues from her first release, HomeSchool EP. She brought a couple of guests along including Earl Sweatshirt, Flatbush Zombies, A$AP Ferg, Chidish Gambino and others. I met her late last year at a Flatbush Zombies show and she’s really a sweet talent. It’s only right I tell you guys about this Brooklyn girl. (If you didn’t know)

[Visual] MRAZ x Flatbush Zombies

Produced by Erick Arc Elliott (duh), Flatbush Zombies release the video for MRAZ. Directed by Phillip T. Annand, the visual embodies the nature of the psychedelic trippies.  It’s looking like a good year for the Zombies especially since Meech believes they “entered the game at re-mark-a-ble tiiiimin'”. I love Juice’s hair right now and though we know Erick is dope on production, I’d appreciate if he’d spit more. He’s nice. Hopefully I’ll get my wish on their upcoming mixtape, Better off DEAD.

If you’ve never seen Flatbush Zombies live… I’d recommend it.

“Trippy is as trippy does.”

A BHBK Summer

The good folks at BarrelHouseBklyn bring you another summer filled with great music, moguls in the making, jawns, and turkey burgers. I mean, sounds type live to me. June 16, the Brooklyn boys will host the 2nd Annual BHBK Cookout and I’m sure you’d want to be in attendance. Where exactly? You have to RSVP for the location. (Yeah, they’re cool like that) But hurry, it will be closing soon! Bring ya bellies, shorts, and RayBans. Most importantly, pack a good vibe. Spread love the BHBK way.

Shouts to the man with the fitted and the cam, BHBK’s own, Slick Jackson providing a glimpse of what this year’s cookout will have in store.

You excited?……. you excited.

[Watch Out Now!] Kreemo

What do you do when you spend your money on the hottest hipster clothing when you finally realize you can make something more… dope? You uh.. do it and Brian Wright did exactly that. Cousins Brian and Lavan Wright and the homie, Desmond Attmore  put their New York state of mind together and came up with what they believed would be better than the Supreme, BBC, and Bape in their closets; Kreemo.

Four years later after the birth of tees with familiar signs/logos with a psychotic twist, Kreemo is becoming the talk of some known artist’s wardrobe this year. Worn by Lil’ Wayne, Wiz Khalifa,  and Machine Gun Kelly, I “beg to differ” if anyone feels Kreemo will not take off.  With many styles, Kreemo can be dressed to your liking; whenever, however. For all “…it won’t be a fad… it’s a lifestyle.” Combining the meanings behind the name (Creedmoor Psychiatric Center) and the original logo a ghost (ever seen one?), Kreemo is looking really good for the future. Check out their site. The web store is closed temporarily while they put the finishing touches on the new release, but feel free to get to know the young trio and their passion for music and fashion.

Video: Jay-Z Running all Towns

Two days ago, seeing the Made in America teaser had me… inquisitive. Not knowing if it was a music video for the record filmed through a kaleidoscope or a documentary, the Hova gawd spilled the beans by announcing the two-day Budweiser Made in America Music Festival. Jay stood side by side with the mayor of Philidelphia, Michael A. Nutter at a press conference mentioning the event is set for September 1st and 2nd, filled with 28 acts from hip-hop to jazz, and a portion of the proceeds will go to local non-profit organizations in Greater Philly and South Jerz through United Way. The Roots already hold it down for the Roots

Mind you, Barclays Center is due for opening at the end of September with Jay christening the stage first night.  Along with Rihanna, the two Roc Nation stars will star in BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend in London June 23-24; their cultural festival before the Olympic Games, starting July 27.

Hmph. 2012 summer will be realer than I thought.

Shouts to Rapdose on the footage.

…Oh.

http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/ea/16711680/wshhUlwK2V8p3Ej09f1L

I don’t entertain World Star Hip Hop because there is always some off the wall, ratchet, ig’nant mess on there and I feel my brain cells evaporate. However, this video is wild ridiculous! I don’t know what the guy was doing on the train for the police to wrestle him, but they were not going to take my mans down. lmao.  I shouldn’t laugh because this is a little out of hand. They were really beating him with those batons. To watch two built policemen get shook by a teen in an Adidas track suit, they need their badges removed. It’s a new breed out there. And with all the injustice going on in the world right now, everyone is not with nothing. Eh. I hope he got away because on some real tip, if they catch him, they are really going to beat his ass. smh.
